Cat Box Hill is one of the most under appreciated trails in the Kingdom. People fly down Tody's Tour and don't even notice the turnoff to the left, about two thirds of the way down. The trail starts out with a punchy little climb, but then it is the most awesome, fast, flowing, fun downhill possible. With a smooth, hardpacked surface - interspersed with some modest rocks, roots and rough - Cat Box Hill has several fun slope-hugging bench cuts, double backs and berms.

A must-do trail suitable for confident novices and up.

Access Info

Access off Tody's Tour, about two thirds of the way down. At its bottom end Cat Box Hill joins with the bottom end of Burrington Bench, before it spills out on River Run.
