This segment of the CDT is between Berry Creek and Miner Creek. Access can be via either end via Berry or Miner Creeks or adjacent segments of the CDT. The trail is all singletrack and goes through mostly lodgepole pine forests. There is a delightful approximately 1,100 foot vertical descent into Miner Creek if you are riding this from south to north. If you are going the other direction, oh well.
Note: The North end of the trail that leads down to Miner Creek has been rerouted and is at a much easier grade than in the past. Still quite a hall if you come up from Miner Creek.

Access Info

The south end of this segment can be accessed off the Berry Creek Trail. The north end off the Miner Lake Road above the lake.
