This section of the CDT provides access to the Three Mile Ridge downhill trail or the Old Bulls Cutoff for other potential loop rides. There are several steep sections with short hike a bike present. Portions of the trail go through burned areas

Recent improvements to this trail and CDT (Big Hole Pass) make shuttling from Anderson Mtn to Sheep Creek very appealing, as well as out-N-back XC rides.
