Ceran St Vrail trail is a narrow, twisty singletrack - super flowy with the occasional tough technical move. And don't fall on those technical spots either as the steep drop to South St. Vrain Creek has claimed more than a few collarbones over the years. This trail is a hiking mecca on the weekends, better to ride here during the week.

The fire road is steep in points, but almost all of it is rideable - sans a couple of rocky sections early in the climb. We rode it as pictured, but tacked on the jeep road descent down to Raymond as an out and back. This road is also very rideable, though steep and loose in spots in the way back up. There's an additional trail across the middle of the loop that is less traveled and has a few down trees on it.
Overall, the single track is very gentle, with perfect dirt covered in pine needles and several short rocky sections along the way. A few stream crossings and overall an extremely peaceful trail with the dense tree cover and sound of the creek following your ride.
