A hiking trail that starts at the Chadsey Lake Trail Parking Lot, located next to the logging road around 5 KM. The trailhead is located just past the yellow gate on the right side, and is marked by small green signs. This trail connects to the Centennial Trail before arriving at Chadsey (Lost ) Lake. From here you can connect to a trail that goes around the north end of the lake, and then to the Eastern Lookout Trail, which goes to the top of Sumas Mountain.

Trail is clear of trees (first that time I can remember) and only has a bit of snow up at the top. Expect it to be under snow really soon, though.

I rode Chadsey Lake for the first time today. Its a challenging trail, there are lots of roots and loose rocks. The section from the towers to the lake has some pretty steep sections but nothing too bad. The trail is severely braided in a lot of areas especially above and around the lake. It is hard to tell where the real trail is. Also there are a lot of spots where you have to get off your bike to climb over stuff. This trail is not really a good mountain bike ride. The moments when you are on your bike are pretty fun but you'd be better off on the other Sumas mountain trails.

This trail is best left for hiking. The lake is a great view point and the steep terrain provides some good views. Actually surprised that this trail is even considered a mountain bike trail.

This a beautiful hiking trail. NOT at all suitable for biking.

Yet another trail rated (quite poorly originally!) by my pocket... I haven't ridden down this trail (I've hiked up it recently though) for over a decade. Hikers have definitely wandered off the original line making it confusing at spot as others noticed. There's some steep awkward sections and tight corners, but I've ridden less enjoyable trails for what thats worth.
