Chanctonbury Bottom Details
Chanctonbury Bottom. Generally flat or light gradient. Packed loam over chalk. Difficulty is very dependent on conditions. Rarely dries out completely, and after significant sustained rainfall can be very muddy. Very muddy in winter, to the extent that this can be a test of fortitude and persistence.
