Trail 100 is best ridden South-to-North, as some sections around Mountain Vista Estates and other spots have climbs that are bit too loose and steep for the average rider. The route as mapped on Trailforks also doesn't include some sections that help make those steep climbs easier. All in all a fun trail.

Great Inner city ride. Pretty average intermediate trails with a couple leg busting climbs. Best ridden out and back in my opinion.

Pretty average trail. Not bad once in a while but it is very rocky and mostly flat with a few average climbs. Not a lot of personality. Like I said good for a short ride if you do not want to drive out of the city but there are 100s of better trails 20-30 min away. I recommend Hawes area north of Mesa, South Mountain at I-10 and Guadeloupe,Sonoran Preserve near Rio Verde, or Ocatillo/Sidewinder north towards Cave Creek. I recommend all of those over the Phoenix Preserve.

T100 is great if you have a nose for route finding. Lots off awesome offshoots that are fast, fun and challenging. The standard trail from Tatum to 7th Ave/Peoria is pretty lame. However, you can make it as easy or difficult as you want by adding optional steep climbs and steeper desecents. One of the best trail systems in AZ if you know where to look
