Charlie trail is a definite step-up from Alpha and Bravo in terms of difficulty. The blue rating is relative to Alpha and Bravo and relates to the length of the trail and the variety and frequency of technical features on the trail. While none of the tech is seriously difficult, there are "A" and "B" lines where required. There are a few nice rock roll-overs as well as rocky up and downs and a few very tight turns with more significant elevation changes than the first two trails. When you get to the pond near the end of the original Charlie, look out for the "Charlie" sign on a tree to your left, which is the start of the new extension. Pay attention because things change fast on this trail
Access Info
Charlie Trail starts on Rice City Road, about 200 yards down the slight hill, on the right, just before the Logging path from the right and Bravo Trail from the left. If you come off of Bravo Trail, turn right onto Rice City Road, back towards Pudding Street for about 20 yards. The entrance to Charlie will be on your left. Look for the Charlie sign about 10 foot up a tree. AT the other end Charlie Trail starts/ends on the Logging Path, about 100 yards from its end on Service Road One. Going up the slight incline of Logging Path, the trail will be on your right. Charlie Trail also crosses the Logging path about midway through the trail, near the intersection of the Logging Path with Rice City Road.
