This is both the primary access road / trail as well as the route to Cherry Creek Falls. The access road has become somewhat overgrown and has become somewhat narrow in places. This is a popular hike on warm days, so take care to watch out for other trail users, children and dogs and give a courteous hello!
This is private property and as with all trails, please take care to not litter or give anyone any reason for us to lose our access.
Note that during the wet season, the creek crossings will get more interesting. There are no bridges, so use good judgement. Also, avoid any overgrown trails or roads that lead off of this access trail, lest you have an affinity for getting lost or judicious use of your machete.
WTA describes the history of this trail:
"Originally the site of a logging camp in the first part of the 20th century, Cherry Creek Falls is now a popular place for locals (and visitors) to cool off after the hike in. The 25-foot falls are the final waterfall along Cherry Creek. The falls drop over a wide, rocky ledge into a large pool."
From Duvall, Washington, exit from SR 203 and Woodinville-Duvall Road in downtown Duvall, head north on SR 203 for about 500 feet, then turn right on NE Cherry Valley Road. Follow this road for 4.3 miles to Mountain View Road, turn left and park on the west shoulder of Mountain View Road.
