Chili Dog is a fun, difficult downhill trail that features several drops and several high-speed rocky moments that should keep you on your toes. The trail was used in the 2016 Big Mountain Enduro. The trail is best accessed by the main Jeep road that gains the top of the ridge. Both Chili Dog and the Flow Trail are accessed by this road. There is an optional ending that features a large drop with the only other option being a scary rock roll.

rode it blind and struggled to get a good flow on this trail. there are a ton of technical features but for me it felt like i was pedaling or going through rock gardens at low speed. ymmv, maybe a bigger bike or better rider could get better flow here. still fun and very tricky, lots of spots to “thread the needle”.

IMO, this is one of the best DH trails in Santa Fe. It has a great mix of tech, chunk, steepness, rock slabs, and flow to make it the perfect DH trail. Worth the Snack Pack climb 100%
