This trail cuts off the bottom portion of the Clarkson Flow Trail while maintaining a similar amount of descending. At the bottom, it connects with an ATV trail that offers a moderate climb that intersects with the Horseshoe trail climb.

The trail from which this trail is accessed (Clarkson Flow Trail) is on private property belonging to Clarkson University. This trail is situated about half on the Clarkson property and half in the State Forest that Horseshoe trail is a portion of. The Clakson property is gated at the bottom and indicates that only current students or employees are permitted access.
