The Farley Ledges Trail is a hard hike located on the edge of Farley, Massachusetts and the border of Erving, Massachusetts that leads up to the Farley Ledges along the Red Dot Trail. Farley Ledges is a very popular rock climbing spot and features massive boulders as well. The trail is well maintained on the western portion to the summit and the eastern slope leading back down seems to be less trafficked. There are some very steep parts of this trail with rope assists, so watch your step. There is a parking lot on Route 2 with a trailhead leading to the ledges with maps to Hermits Castle as well.
