This is an old cow highway that climbs great and adds distance to the climb while only bypassing the first open field that has a steep washed out trail. It is a bit on the narrow side.

Access Info

After crossing the Mortgenstern's red gate, follow the right side trail North for a few hundred feet. Before reaching the open field the trail turns off to the right and climbs going south until you reach a switchback that sends you North again. The trail reconnects with the "Red gate to Classic/DH" trail at the top of the open field.

This trail is unsanctioned.
