Part of the Elk Valley / TransCanada Trail; This can be accessed at either end for a very mellow ride through the forest near Coal Creek Road. Couple of minor climbs but nothing too tough. All the local kids' bike maps use it to introduce kids to single track, normally truck dropping them at the far end from town s it is mostly downhill from there. Some interpretative signs along the way with Fernie's history.

Access Info

Start behind the Aquatic Centre on the coal dust trail. Access at the far end involves making use of the Coal Creek Heritage Trail Access Road (on map).
