This is the coast to coast trail which is a part of the mineral tramways network in Cornwall. It was one of the first parts of the network to be built and is the main trail which links many other areas. The trail runs from Portreath on the north Cornish coast to Devoran in the south. The trail also links with areas such as Poldice and Unity Woods.

The trail itself is fairly easy, family friendly with a wide path. There are a few short road sections but most is on a purpose built trail used by bikes, walkers and horse riders. There are no trail features as such, but there are many more challenging trails which are connected to this trail for those wishing to push themselves The trail also runs through a nature reserve near Devoran and also takes in a large area mining area (part of the Poldice Valley). There is wonderful and constantly changing scenery at every turn, it is a great ride for all abilities - be it a quiet ride with the kids or trying to get a PB over the full 23 miles (there and back).

All clear but very wet in places, but there were no issues - that is the joy of this trail.

Very busy being a Sunday, but clear and damp. No problems and very little snow remaining.

Only rode the end section near Bissoe. Lots of fun. Quite wet and muddy in places. Found some great little jumps and drop offs! Certainly worth having another go next time I am down there.

Rode the section from Scorrier to Portreath. It was mostly dry and all clear. Not too many people about so I could give it a little extra pace. Really enjoyed blasting it a little!

Rode to the whole thing today, a good blast and found a few new little lumps and bumps to get air from! Riding well, but head wind on the way back was no good!

A good ride today, head wind on the way out with a tail wind on the way back - perfect. Trail riding well.
