Fire road climb to the top of the canyon. Part way up there is a shaded rest area with picnic table, where some of the upper trails converge. Most common route is to continue climbing on Cobal Canyon. Once at the top you can come down to the rest area via the sidewinder trail, or stay on this trail to connect to Claremont Wilderness Loop.
