       I recommend North to South and having someone pick you up near the lake. 70% of the 1000 feet of climbing is STEEP. Great downhill sections with some loose rocks and barely any tech. Glorious woodsy single track that's barely trafficked once you're off the Elbert section. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it South to North, or without a shuttle. Wouldn't be worth it.
