This is a 2.5 mile beginner friendly loop around the lake. It can be navigated in with direction as both have the fun of descending below the spillway and the climb back up and out. There are 3 stream crossings, 2 below the spillway and one up near the wall. The one up near the wall can be tricky if the side stream is flowing as the stepping stones are just below the surface. The main one from the spillway is rideable with momentum.
Overall this is a great loop for beginners

This is a great trail for beginners and experienced riders alike, it is simple enough to navigate while there are some opportunities to really get carving around if you want to. There are some areas that get narrow near some pretty big hillsides so maybe not the best trails for young kids and easily intimidated riders. All around fun place to ride!

Took my wife her for her first trail ride. We took it slow and had a lot of fun. A couple of fun downhills and even had a couple berms in some spots. Nice views of the lake. Spillway crossing was interesting with all the rain we've had.
