One of the best longer descents in Whistler. Black tech with rock rolls along the way.

adamr1 is sooo right. This is truly one of the best trails that is so close to the village. Good climb up that is very much worth the pain.

Great trail, perfect conditions right now. Do it before snow comes!

One of my favorites in whistler, with my usual way being to ride up yummy Mumby. This route allows for extensions too by riding up to golden door and around the numb loop

What a way to finish Comfortably Numb! You find out if you have any gas in the tank and if you do, what fun! I love this trail! It's as advertised and I have found it is a good barometer of my progression in fitness (esp. core strength) and skills over the years. First time I did it, I got to this section and thought, you've got to be kidding. Totally kicked my butt but now gets more fun every year for me.

Thank U SNOWDAN for the bridge-rock-bridge replacement, runs so nice now!

Really cool trail. Mostly a series of rock rolls of different sizes with some pedaling between each.

Can anyone that rides the trail let me know the condition of the memorial bench near the top? Thanks.

If you like old skool and you like jank, this one's for you. A few fun rock rolls with lots of pedaling in between.

A different climbing trail could make this trail world famous.

Anyone know how the trail hold after 3 days raining? Tempted to go but not sure if will be way to slippery
[Reply]

it will be slippery on the roots and rocks, but you probably won't do any damage to the trail since it's pretty hard surfaced with lots of rock
[Reply]

Not my cup of tea, lots of janky short climbs after very short fun downhills, feels like 5 seconds of down, 20 seconds flat/up.
I'd say its great for someone who likes XC style trails. Not great if you want to get stuck into a consistent decent

On the easy side of black. The biggest challenge is probably cleaning the short uphills. I definitely prefer trails with more continuous downhill, but if this is your style you'll love it!

The rock faces are quite nice, on the easy side of black. Lots of roots and when not, lots of rocks. One of these trails where you won't get the luxury to tell yourself "I'm done with the uphill", which after a while gets a bit tiresome to my taste
