Comfortably Numb is the longest and most physically challenging singletrack ride in the Whistler valley. Designed and built by Chris Markle (a Whistler trailbuilding legend), it's a must-do ride for technically advanced cyclists.
Comfortably Numb should not be taken lightly, take as much water as you can carry, you will need it. It's also not recomended that you do this trail on your own, as large parts are out of mobile phone coverage. If you do start the ride and need to exit early, there is a way out after 6km via Young Lust which will take you back to the Wedgemount carpark.
Most people ride this trail from North to South, starting at Wedgemount parking lot, but it can be ridden both ways.
Some variations of the trail include riding Kill Me Thrill Me first, or if you want to start in the village, you can ride out on Green Lake Loop
The descent portion is setup as a seperate trail, which can be done itself by climbing Yummy Numby.

Access Info
The trail begins near Wedgemount parking lot. Either ride or drive north of Whistler and look for the BC Parks signs for Wedgemount. Once off the highway there is ample parking near the river. To access the trail-head, cross the bridge and go left, veering right at a fork. After a couple of minutes you will see a well signed trail on your right.
