Coral Creek Trail is a fairly demanding steep fall-line multi-use rated trail accessed from Lake Cle-Elum or from the Teanaway valley. About half of the trees on the trail were burned in the 2017 Jolly Mountain fire. Stark black husks of trees remain to stand in contrast with the waist-high blooms of flowers and greenery that the fire fed. This trail is primarily a moto trail, no question.
For moto users: This trail is of moderate steepness going up or down, has sections of loose rock, a few tricky off-camber solid rock sections near the top and makes for a good loop when combined with Sasse mountain trail.
For mountain bikers: This trail is IMPOSSIBLE to climb. Not possible by any human. It is a double diamond trail going up and you will be pushing your bike for the majority of it. Only about 1-2% of the trail, of which is gorgeous, is rideable. Going down, I'd give it a firm diamond rating.
For hikers: There are some beautiful sections to this trail. I'd recommend hiking up Sasse or Hex mountain trail, then traverse over to the top of this trail.
