The Cottonwood trail starts on the Bennett trail and continues south to the Maah Daah Hey to connect at MP 75. This trail covers a couple large drainages along with some rough badlands and makes for a good loop of around 15 miles, using the Maah Daah Hey to get back to the Bennett campground.

Start at the Bennett trail head at Bennett campground. There is a trail register and a gate.
