       If you can catch this trail in early spring before the dirt bikes hit it, it is truly an amazing. Just watch out around mile 4.2, as of last year there was a nasty metal stake in the ground with a crushed top directly in the trail that can easily shred a tire! I try to keep a rock pile on it, but still keep an eye out.

       So the exact mileage to the cut stake posts that will rip open your tires is 4.8. I have posted pictures on this trails gallery that show my garmin (starting from the trailhead parking lot) to the spot of tire death. There are actually two different cut stake posts, within 5 yards of each other. I have posted photos of the offending tire slayers, so heads up!
