Coyote Highway is double track road that runs atop the south/west side of the emergency spillway dike. It's a green trail, suitable for novice riders, with worn treads. The trail is mostly flat with only a few short but sometimes steep climbs, but is an overall rise from south to north. The trail is mostly Stanley County gumbo dirt and will turn into peanut butter goo when wet, so give it a few days to dry after rain. The area is open to public hunting, so be aware in the fall

Access Info

The south/east end of the trail connects with Twin Lakes, with access at the shooting range, where parking and a vault toilet are available. The north/west end of the trail connects to Highway 1806, a short way west of the West Shore MTB trails.
