The north end of Coyote Valley Road is a steep, sometimes sandy ascent from Bishop to Coyote Flat. The south half traverses south across Coyote Flat to the top of Baker Creek Trail.

      The lower part of this trail is like riding on a beach: really difficult to pedal with 2.6" tires. I had to hike about 25% of it.
