Cradle of Humankind loop (also known as the Cradle Loop or the Kromdraai Loop) - a well known ride venue in the Muldersdrift area. Very popular with the "roadies" but has an equally good off-road course that runs parallel (but only clock-wise) to the road for the entire loop which is about 28km. Has a bit of everything with some great downhills for fun making up for some "meanie" uphills. Switching across the road twice through two tunnels. Absolutely free and worth a ride if not ridden before.

Access Info

There are a number of eating venues (with parking) that serve as both start and end points (as it is a loop). Probably the most popular start/end point is from Bidon Bistro, which allows one to get the legs warmed up with a level and then downhill section.
