Start hike on west side of Ashnola Road, 2km before Cathedral Park boundary. The hike begins with a steep walk up a logging road which eventually heads due west through meadows to the old Hargreaves cabin. A further hiking option is to continue north to the summit of Crator Mountain.

Keremeos west on Hwy 3 to Red Bridge. Cross Red Bridge to Ashnola Road. Continue on Ashnola Road to just before the Cathedral Lake Park boundary (past Webster/ Ewart creeks and 2km before park boundary)
