This is a very fun downhill that parallels Ash Canyon Creek. The trail flows through a narrow canyon lined with cottonwood, aspen, and manzanita; it can become slightly overgrown in the spring time which will limit your line-of-sight. The trail crosses the Creek twice on two small wooden bridges. Though not an overly technical trail, the Creek Trail does have a few technical features; around 0.30 miles down the trail splits, with the left fork taking you over a small rock drop. This is a multi-use trail, most mountain bikers ride it in the downhill direction but there are frequently hikers going either up or down, yield the right-of-way to hikers and uphill traffic.
