EDITOR NOTE: See "Cross Tie". This "MTB Connector" trail was original project name of this section of trail from Hilltop to mountain biking area but it is now combined with existing Cross Tie trail.

This section of Cross Tie trail is primary use biking and hiking single-track trail from Hilltop Day Use parking area to the north access to mountain biking only area. It was created as the "MTB connector" to take traffic off of trails going thru Disc golf area and Hares Canyon (fire road). Well built trail dives immediately off into timber and crosses over various shared-use trails. Relatively easy grade but narrow and some switch back turns make this difficult for beginners - but this is intended to be the main access to Intermediate mountain biking area trails. Lots of fun flowing this back out from mountain biking area to Hilltop - it's mainly downhill that direction!
