The Crowsnest Community Trail is a 23 km, non-motorized route that connects the communities of the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass together. The section of the trail shown here is a combination of asphalt and gravel surfaces. There is also a natural surface singletrack section listed as The Community Trail . An additional paved path accesses Hillcrest Mines, branching off the main trail. A section between the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre and Frank (not shown on the map here) is not bike-friendly and the road should be used instead.

Use the route to travel between communities, access other trails, visit local businesses, and tour incredible historical sites, such as the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre and the Bellevue Underground Mine. On the way, the trail takes you through stunning natural areas. Watch for wildlife along Crowsnest River and enjoy spectacular Crowsnest Pass vistas. The section between Frank and Hillcrest Mines is on the Old Frank Road through the Frank Slide overlooking the small lake that formed when the slide dammed the river.

As you move between communities, stop at the trail interpretive kiosks to learn more about Crowsnest Pass’ amazing natural and cultural history.
