The Curly Lake Highline offers above-treeline riding with tremendous views of the Tobacco Root mountains and the Jefferson and Boulder Valleys. Trail conditions are uniformly difficult, with rubble and rock gardens predominating. Motorcycle traffic makes some of the switchbacks very challenging.
The Curly Lake Highline is closed until July 15 for mountain goat kidding.
