This adventurous trail is a fun ride to do after you've done most of the other trails in the area and you want extra technical challenges. Thanks to the local guerilla trail gnomes, this trail has gotten a lot love lately and is much more enjoyable to ride.

The trail shares the beginning of Coal Creek Trail. Deer Creek vaguely splits off from Coal at the top of the hill and goes next to a small lake. The trail veers right then left through some thick willow and is hard to find. The top part is much more flowy and less eroded now. The mid section is less steep and rolls nicely near the valley bottom. The last bit of trail is gnarly, steep, and loose, hence the 2x black. Some people won't like this, but its all rideable and fun. This trail makes for a great loop from Pass Creek Trail.
