Great views, a fun, flowing middle section, and singletrack throughout are the rewards that you reap for the punchy, technical climbs, rock gardens, and step-up/drop off ledges of Delbert's. Surface is mixed, with quite a few loose, rocky sections.

Delbert's Connects Powerline to Chamisoso and FR 462. Begins at the rotted-out Ford Ranger on Powerline. The first 2.9 mi, before the intersection with Chamisoso, is predominantly downhill, but tough and remote. The climb out (1.2 mi from Chamisoso to FR462) is more well-traveled, but still fun and challenging. Trail ends at intersection with FR 462, between Coyote and Mighty Mule.

Accessed via 15 minute hike a bike up power line trail. Some fallen trees. Endless supply of baby heads. Very loose pack. Feels like you’re riding uphill even while coasting. Wouldn’t ever ride in opposite uphill direction.

You can tell that dirt bikes ride this trail. Walked a good portion of it. Rutted, rocky and just trashed. Would not do it again for the fee fun sections there are. Not for mountain biking.
