Climbs steeply for a few miles up Old Jeep Road. Go through the Desert Mountain gate, then climb to the pass. Take the right fork and climb up the switch-backing single track. The trail continues to climb sometimes steeply but is very ridable. Ride down to the Desert Mountain neighborhood and back to start or continue on the other excellent single track in the area.

Very rideable is an overstatement. Jeep road is steep with loose rock. DM single track is nice with some sharp steep switchbacks made for hikers not bikes. Be ready for some hike a bike for all but the fittest expert riders. Still a worth while adventure and fun to explore.
