This route starts and ends in signletrack in the Dimple Dell gully between 700 E and 1300 E. It has very little elevation gain, and is far less popular with bikers than other nearby riding areas. This route includes a stretch of the broad footpath which is mostly covered in woodchips, but it is possible to stay primarily on singletrack by branching off onto a number of other paths.
The singletrack surface is primarily sand and can be difficult to ride when dry. Many trail users utilize Dimple Dell, including equestrians, but there are fewer of all users on this stretch of Dimple Dell when compared to the other side of 1300 E.

Lots of super soft sand and some detours due to construction around the bridge.

Water levels are low enough to cross many places and still enjoy dry feet. Some of the singletrack sand is now too soft for my 2.8's

Sand surfaces are getting really soft and loose. Water levels coming down the creek are dropping, but still enough to soak your feet in a crossing

      Jun 12, 2019
Trail surface is perfectly dry, but the normally-dry Dry Creek is running fast and deep right now. Crossing will result in wet feet at the least....
