dopo la salita al visolo, questa può essere una interessante e divertente variante per escursionisti esperti. la prima parte è abbastanza semplice, una volta entrati nel "canalone" in più punti si va in "freeride" a causa del pietrisco che rende la stabilità del piede abbastanza critica. i passaggi con le catene sono molto basici, in alcuni casi in discesa non servono.
in invernale, deve essere una interessante via di ascesa al Visolo Smile

- in discesa: dalla vetta del monte visolo seguire la traccia nell'erba verso sud e i bolli bianchi e rossi. facendo il "giro" della vetta ci introduciamo ad una cresta molto esposta (necessario piede molto fermo) che ci conduce a delle roccette e al crocevia sottostante
- in salita: lungo il sentiero 315, 200 metri circa prima della cappella Savina si vede il sentiero che si stacca alla nostra sinistra
