Well built trail with a lot of flow. Good corners with some jumps - most are rollable but the last one that jumps left between two trees is NOT rollable and needs to be hit flat out. Trail is a cross between Angry Midget and Half Nelson in terms of character - sort of singletrack, sort of manicured flow trail. If you can't have fun on this trail... you can't have fun.

WARNING: Be really careful with crossing other trails. This trail crosses Legacy, Full Nelson (requires that you turn left and go UP the trail about 50m to find Lower Ditch Pig) and then Half Nelson again. The last crossing of Half Nelson is particularly dangerous and there HAVE been collisions here as visibility of crossing traffic is very poor until they're embedded in your front wheel.

Access Info

Climb Legacy past Full Nelson and keep going up. After a few bastard switchbacks you'll come out on a disused skidder road. Left goes to Angry Midget, right takes you to Ditch Pig. It crosses Legacy and drops you into some really fun jumpy bits, then crosses Full Nelson (requiring you to turn left and ride 50m up Full Nelson), then crosses Half Nelson (sketchy junction, be warned), then crosses Legacy again and has you riding DOWN Legacy for about 100m before splitting off to the left.

Disclaimer

Trail crosses other trails at unmarked junctions at relatively high speed. Be super careful - it does this four times.

I prefer Ditch Pig over Angry Midget because it sees less traffic and is therefore less rutted out. It's great trail with steep pitches, tricky roots, and a bit of fast flow. Other trail favorites in Squamish are:

Such a good trail! Don't know why I never tried it until now, always went to Angry Midget. I didn't see any warning signs before the trail crossings, good to know to look out.
