Great downhill singletrack, three trails that conjoin over fire track link a good downhill clocking about 4 mins. Top section starts as loam then turns to flowy singletrack after a gap jump. It has berms and drops. You then drop to a log bridge over a ditch and go straight across the fire track in to section 2. It is natural, slidey and rutty it has a gap jump in the middle and finishes with a rock slab. Again you go directly across the fire track into the bottom section. It's very steep and technical it has a small jump section and finishes with a drop. The climb to the top is relitevely steep ( you can do it on a AM bike but not on a DH ) It is obvious fire track though and has great views. You can see the firetrack on the map above ( OS map option or the trailforks optioin), after seeing the pattern of the firetrack you will understand how the trail crosses it.

Access Info

There is a car park on upper hillfoot road, It is about 200m from the bottom of the firetrack

Went up yesterday and the trails were in ok condition, do need some work, a new trail is starting to be built and am hoping that someone will contact me with details about who the builder is , over the past few year i have maintained and added to the trails so was hoping to get involved with the new one. If you have any information please contact me.

Went up at the weekend with a couple of mates and it was actually running surprisingly well, some sections were a bit slick and the drop into a berm could do with a bit of work, a small tree has fallen down just after the two jumps and we tried to move it but could not, will be going up at the weekend with a saw to remove it.
