The Downhill Track in Hlíðarfjall Bike Park. The track was refurbished and recommissioned in the summer of 2018 after being neglected for few years. It was used in the DH Nationals that same year and is considered by most to be a decent and fun track that can be ridden by most if not all intermediate to advanced riders.

Access Info

If the Bike Park is open then you take the chair lift up to the Strýta cabin and then drop of the cabin platform and right onto the track Otherwise you get yourself (drive) to the Bike Park Parking and then hike, tame or cycle up the access road up to the Strýta cabin.
