Driving Miss Hazy is a beginner specific trail done at the request of the local high school mountain bike team for the new kids to delevop skills and stamina. It is not a difficult trail by any means, but does have numerous 'things' for the better riders to play on - ramp jumps, rollers and kickers on the the side of the trail. The basic 'beginner' course is XC Up, Hansel & Gretel, Miss Hazy and XC Down, which is about 5 total miles.

Brewery: Smug Brewery, Pawtucket, RI.

The back story on the name: The brewery owners have a daughter named Hazel and her childhood nickname was Hazy. She always had difficulty falling asleep, so her parents would drive her around the block until she fell asleep - that affectionally became 'Driving Miss Hazy'.

One of my favorite trails to ride with my 10 year old son. Very fun!

Flat (very little incline or decline) , firm (hard packed dirt) and flowy (lots of twists & turns) and free of rocks and roots (especially by New England standards). A very enjoyable trail for anyone... beginner to expert.

Nice job on this trail. Should be a lot of fun once some traffic wears in the pathways
