Dwelley Pond Details
Dwelley Pond is a nice cross country loop or out and back ride towards the North end of the park.
The trailbed is old road that is slowly being reclaimed by the woods. Towards the West side (the Dwelley Pond trailhead), the trail is a much nicer singletrack. To the North it is a mix of bushwacking double track. As such it rides very nicely as a loop clockwise from the North end, returning via the Tote Road.
At Dwelley Pond there is a shelter with a picnic table and an outhouse, but with as remote and under traveled the North end of the park is, I would not depend on the outhouse to be well stocked.
The trail is a bit lacking in views and isn't very difficult, but is a fantastic option for a fall ride to break up a series of hikes, especially as the colors are changing.
