E.M.P. Blast Details
At times rooty, this single-track parallels the main Emily Murphy Access trail, with several access points, of differing complexity, to come on or off.
Riding eastbound is complicated by rooty uphills, but with several rewarding flow sections. A natural spring towards the end will bring you briefly back to the main access trail, down a steep, muddy (despite weather conditions), jutted bank - you may choose to walk it. Getting back on track is simple enough, as you weave around tree trunks on an uphill.
Westbound is perhaps easier, but due to the afore-mentioned trail erosion after the first couple of hundred metres , you'll be joining the main E.M. access quickly, with, for most of us, a walk up a slippery slope to get back on track. Once back up there, enjoy the gentle undulations!
