This trail is open to motorcyles, hikers, horses, and bicycles.
This 7.7 mile trail offers beautiful view of Goat Rocks, Rainier, Tongue Mountain and Juniper Ridge. Also of interest along the trail are peeled cedar trees whose bark was used by the Yakama Indians to make baskets.
After a 3-mile hike from Forest Road 5601 near Ollallie Lake, the trail climbs the East Canyon Ridge to meet Forest Road 2328. The trail then follows Forest Road 2328 for 1.5 miles before descending Squaw Creek Trail #265 to Forest Road 2322. (Watch for vehicles on Road 2328.)
This trail appears to have been used extensively by Yakama Indians as they traveled from berry picking camps near Olallie, Takhlakh and Chain of Lakes to fishing camps along the Cispus River.
