This trail is less for those who are concerned about times and speed, and more for those who like to take a slightly different line each time and freestyle over the various lumps, bumps and other obstacles along the way. If it is times and leader boards that get you going, then there is a footpath alongside, so knock yourself out!

You start in East Drive Car Park, at the back on the right hand side. From here head into the woods, choosing your own line (there are a few to go with). This can get wet, so be prepared to for the backend to slip around if it has rained in the past few days. There are some roots to get over and the odd hedge and ditch.

You then enter into the Pine Walks section (alongside the path which is next to the golf course). With all the pine trees (no surprise) the riding is not the fastest, as riding through pine needles is not ideal. However, there are any number of lines to take through here and it has plenty of mounds and bumps to allow you to get air, there are roots to get over, fallen trees to pop over and trees to weave between. You can ride this 10 times and do it 10 different ways. Look for what you like and make it suit you!

A trail for messing about, there is nothing too big, but enough to keep you thinking and smiling. Have a go!

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!

Still very wet through the first section and back end sliding out a lot. A tree down in the second section really needs dealing with as it blocks most of the options when you get to it.

Nailed the jumps after the weekend practice! But got a small branch caught around my rear wheel. The big tree is still down, so I still need to sort it!

I have cleared some of the branches which are down. One large tree is still blocking a large part of the trail (needs a lot of work!). You can now get past it, but it is tight and a little twisty - really slows you down.

Wet in the normal spots and the bloody big fallen tree in the middle of the run is still a pain. The gap I cleared to get around it is too tight and twisty - kills all speed!

Fairly dry and running quite well. The tree issue is a little better now, there is a little more room. Getting better than it was.

Clipped a tree! Very wet and muddy in a few spots in the top section.

Cleared a huge tree stump before the jump, jump working well now! Good ride, but clipped the same tree again!

Getting back into the swing of this one again. Carving a new line around the first fallen tree - much quicker way through!

A clear line is still tricky, but it was still riding quite well.

Really wet today, never seen it this wet. Lots of branches down too. Will have to leave it a while to dry out!

The two hedge/dip areas are still very muddy which is a shame if you love getting air off the first one! I need to ride this more to fine a good line, really bad when you keep getting the wrong line on your own trail! Smile

A little wet in the corner before the hedge jump which kills the speed. The landing is very wet! It was good to be riding it with more speed at last!

Still a little damp around the hedge jump, other than that, lots of fun. Really enjoying being back on this run again.

Nice and quick today, hedge jump has dried out. Enjoyed it.

All is fine, but I crashed after a thick wire coming out of the ground wrapped around the bike! Just keep an eye open (certainly better than me!).

I have tied up the wire and marked with logs, so should no longer be an issue. Just keep an eye open.

Had to move the wire again, need to bring down a hack saw!

A few dog walkers in the way, but still good, not as much air as I would have liked!
