This trail is the reason you ride from the Giant White Pine campground. More specifically, you ride this to realize for yourself why the Strava Segment named, "Possibly the best singletrack section ever..." really is named completely accurately.
Start from Giant White Pine Campground, and take the Old Sampson Connection Trail up and over the ridge to access the meadow trail. Then climb up until you get to the "Leaving National Forest" sign. You can either turn around there (you're at the top of the amazing singletrack downhill) or keep going up towards Palouse Divide Lodge.
