Section of easy, undulating trail east of raptor ridge, and into the agricultural area of North County inland.

Access Info

There are four trailheads: (1) for Sikes Adobe Staging Area at the west end of the trail, take the I-15 freeway to Via Rancho Parkway and go east; turn right at Sunset Drive and look for the trailhead on the left before the end of the road; (2) Old Coach North Staging Area: take the I-15 freeway and exit at West Bernardo/Pomerado Road. Go east then turn left at the signal light at Highland Valley Rd. Drive about 2.3 miles to the Old Coach North Trail Staging Area on the right. Take the link trail east to cross Highland Valley Road and reach the Coast to Crest Trail; (3) for Ysabel Creek Staging Area, follow directions in #2 above, but continue up Highland Valley Road, then turn left at Bandy Canyon Road to Ysabel Creek Road. Trailhead is on the corner on the left; (4) for San Pasqual Staging Area at the east end of the trail, see (1) above, but continue past Sunset Drive, then turn right at San Pasqual Valley Road. At intersection with Hwy 78, turn right and continue 2.75 miles past the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. After the bridge turn right at Bandy Canyon Road. Turn right into a dirt lot and follow signs for the San Pasqual Staging Area.
