A enchainer avec la fin de "La descente qui n'en finit pas"

Chiffres clés : 5,6 kms / d+ 11 m / d- 419 m
Magnifique descente, longue, technique mais pas trop. Elle emprunte une partie du sentier botanique entre les sites emblématiques de Roques-Altès et Montméjean ; la ré-ouverture en Mars 2014 de l'ancien chemin rural permet d'éviter la zone de portage de la source de Font Doulce.

Il y a tout : 100% single, du pédalage, des relances, du roulant ludique, des épingles, quelques passages techniques dans lesquels il faut bien lire la trajectoire, des paysages et des sites emblématiques. Un must.

En terme d'homogénéité, cet itinéraire est plus cohérent que la descente sur Montméjean avec un départ de St André, dont le début est très facile et la fin (commune avec cette descente) nettement plus relevée.

ACCES
Prendre la D.991 direction Gorges de la Dourbie ; traverser le village de la Roque et monter sur le Causse Noir direction St André de Vézines - Veyreau. Sur le plateau, suivre à gauche au premier carrefour vers St André. Se garer sur la place de l’église : 23 kms depuis Millau.
