This loop trail is popular with mountain bikers and offers great views from the lookout tower near Fivemile Butte of Mt. Adams, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Hood. Another popular starting point is at the 8 mile campgound. This allows you to finish on a downhill regardless of which direction you ride it in. During the busy summer days the section along 8 mile creek is a very popular shuttle for campers and families. Sections of this trail are maintained by the 44 Trails Association.

Super fun trail. We started at parking lot off FS Rd. And rode clockwise.
