New trail paralleling Jackass constructed as part of the USFS adoption plan for Jackass. More of a quick, straight shot than Jackass with a couple technical sections throughout.

I know these trials need to be two ways to receive FS funding etc. but it would be really nice to share the stoke about climbing the fire road. Climbing this is dangerous and the fire road climb is rad.

Just a matter of time until someone gets really hurt running into another person. They should really stop marking this as a climbing trail

should be a downhill only trail, don't recommend riding up it

As others have said PLEASE DONT CLIMB! It’s a very loose rocky descent with few places to yield. Plus there’s a perfectly good fire road to climb.

Its not quite as awesome as Jackass, but substantially faster as you don't have to go uphill at all.

A1 is a lame name for this fun trail. not sure if that is what they are really trying to call it. I'll be calling this trail Ass Jack, as its a fun alternate to Jackass.

This is totally awesome downhill. Clearly built with fast descents in mind. Its faster and more fun than jackass (in my opinion). I'd pedal up the fire road to descend either jackass or this new trail. Please don't pedal up this and expect me to yield ????

I'm guessing someone is calling it a "climbing trail" because TNF doesn't support downhill only trails. Hence, if they're trying to get this incorporated in the Jackass trail system it has to be labeled multi-use and multi-directional. Either way, the road climb isn't bad and I'd recommend it over going up this trail and risk getting taken out by someone.

This makes a fun double loop around Jackass while climbing up the road twice. Not sure who planned this as a "climbing trail" since it caters heavy to the downhill direction with jumps and features. Going up it once was enough for me to see no benefit in doing it ever again as it connects to Jackass skipping a handful of features.

This really shouldn’t be a climbing trail
