El Pollo Elastico - The Rubber Chicken in Espanol - was built in the late 90's as a natural extension of Fire Circle trail and continues on with Ewok Village, which was originally called Lower Chicken. Combined with Cedar Dust and Bob's Trail, this route down from mid Galbraith was a multi-year effort of poking around in the woods after work with machetes and maddocks by Bob Torset, Tom Aeschliman and others. Pretty tame by today's standards, it is still a pretty flowy romp through the woods and clear cuts with obligatory roots and rocks and a few berms and jump thrown in. Also a pretty good alternate climb up verses Intestine or The Wall.

Actually one of my favorites on the mountain. A nice technical XC trail with tons of roots and rocks with some good descending. Good rock roll too!

Rode down this trail yesterday for the first time. It’s really fun! Great corners plus a bonus rock roll. Would recommend
